SALES REPRESENTATIVE and PACT UNIVERSITY AGREEMENT

Overview: Pact Marketing is a marketing and sales company that provides the premier pest control summer sales experience. We are positioned to double the size of our customer base during the summer and are seeking hard-working, friendly, physically fit, good communicators to join our team of independent sales contractors

Compensation: You will be paid a commission between 20% and 50% of the contract value of the qualified accounts you sell based on the first year rep pay grid. Every 2 weeks you will receive 8% as a commission advance for new sales that were serviced and paid their bill during the pay period. Manual billing accounts receive half commission and $0 upfront. The remainder of owed commissions will be paid based on only Qualified accounts as of Jan 10th, the following calendar year after the date of this agreement. . Qualified = on Jan 10th having: properly signed contract on file, min 2 full priced services completed and paid for, <30 days past due, <$150 past due, serviced within the past 135 days, and not cancelled. On Jan 31st, you will be paid any remaining due commissions up to $20,000 total including summer advances. If total commissions are greater than $20,000, the remainder will be paid in 10 equal payments on the last day of each calendar month Feb-Nov 2021. For more details, sales reps should refer to the pricing guidelines set forth in their sales manual in order to receive full commission.

Summer Season Dates: Our preseason offices will open and you can begin working as early as Apr 20th. The summer program will ramp up to full capacity by May 15th. The summer season will wind down between Aug 15th and Sept 31st. Each Seasonal sales contractor will coordinate a specific arrival date and end date in this time window with their assigned area sales manager. Daily Schedule: For Full time summer reps you can expect to work 8 hour days, 5 days a week. Local managers will set their own hours, but A typical day begins with a Training meeting at 11 am, followed by a 30-40 minute lunch break, then heading to assigned field areas to begin contacting potential customers 1 pm - 9 pm. Holidays & Sick Days: The only planned holiday time off for the summer is on Memorial Day and Independence Day. You will be expected to work both days, but the workday will end early as set by your area sales manager (likely 5 or 6 pm). Days off need to be pre-approved by the manager, or a Doctor's note showing absence.

Summer Housing: Company housing will be provided for Seasonal Sales Contractors. Reps who occupy company housing will be required to sign an agreement for the cost of rent. The max cost is $2000 for the full season for a double occupancy room in company housing. This cost is not paid upfront but will be charged in January when we balance summer commission advances against actual earned commissions. At this time there will also be a housing bonus credited for the number of Qualified residential accounts sold and serviced during the summer season. Bonus amounts: $2000 for 125 qualified accounts. You will be required to follow company housing policy, including no alcohol, tobacco, and drugs in company housing, as well as not being allowed to have overnight guests.

Travel Advance, Orientation, and Pact University: You will be required to complete company training and orientation by completing the 3 Sales Training Courses at Pact University. For completing each of the 3 sections you will receive a bonus as an advance against future commissions. A $200 travel bonus for completing Part 1 and a $200 training bonus for completing Part 2. For completing Part 3 and by selling and servicing 30 accounts, you summer advance will raise from 8% to 10%.

Smart Phone and iPad: To complete your training process and fulfill your work as a sales contractor you will be required to have a smart phone with cellular capabilities. Reps who receive an ipad from the company must return it in good working order at the end of the summer or have $550 deducted from their remaining commissions.

Trip Bonus: Sales Representatives can qualify to attend the annual company leadership retreat by servicing 100 accounts. An elite trip bonus is also available by servicing $150,000 in qualified revenue. All accounts must pay for their initial service by 9/31.

Uniform Policy: Pact Marketing provides each sales contractor with an adequate number of work shirts. Sales contractors are responsible to provide their own shorts, comfortable walking shoes, and belt. Shirts must be washed, free of wrinkles, and tucked in at all times. Sales contractors are to maintain a clean appearance and be properly groomed.

By signing this document, you agree to the terms and conditions of this seasonal employment offer. Failure to comply with any of the terms of this agreement may result in immediate termination. Pact Marketing reserves the right to alter compensation to adapt to industry changes or modify company policies.
